A few words from our fans
We recently held our sister's wedding at this venue. In this area you often find venues with beautiful views and less-than-ideal reception locations. Or the reception location is gorgeous, but the ceremony location is less than ideal. Here, both are just beautiful. Whether simple and rustic, cowboy, farm, or country elegance is the look you're going for, you can definitely make it happen in this location. Not only are the grounds absolutely stunning, the harvest tables and strand-lit long hallway are magical. When it comes to photo opportunities, choices are endless. From mountain views, to a misty pond reflecting beautiful trees, two horses galloping in the background, you will run out of daylight before you run out of photo ideas. Lastly, but probably most importantly, the family that runs this beautiful venue are truly gracious, helpful, and so very fun. This was like working with people you've known forever. We couldn't recommend it highly enough.

My mother and I visited this venue to look at it as a potential wedding venue. Elizabeth and Lucy met us and had everything set up for a wedding so we could see what it would look like. Their professionalism and hospitality is only matched by the incredible view of Brasstown Bald in the distance when looking out of the barn. I absolutely recommend this venue and these wonderful women!

We LOVED this location! It’s storybook beautiful. The wonderful folks of McDowall Acres made it even better. They were perfect hosts and went above and beyond. We hosted local and out of state friends and family and all said it was a perfect venue.
